Resume
Professional
info

Self-motivated, deep learning researcher with extensive experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems and Smart City domain. My goal is to design system and methodology for elevating quality of life in urban society. After 4 years of entrepreneurship and research consultancy journey, I completed MS in Robotics at KAIST, where now I am pursuing PhD in Robotics. My research interests lie in Smart Transportation for Urban Mobility, Computer Vision for Perception, and Accident Prevention using advanced driver-assistance system.

Work
experience

Graduate Research Assistant in Vehicular Intelligence Lab (Full-funding Support by KAIST scholarship for MS in Robotics) (03/2021 - 03/2023) and for PhD in Robotics) (03/2023 - Onwards)

  • Working on advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) with explain ability focus using vision-language foundation models like CLIP, DINO, Florence, etc.

  • Worked on accident detection in CCTV video feeds and Ego-Vehicle camera video.

  • Collaborated for development of secure ADAS using deep learning and block-chains.

  • Collaborated for real time traffic speed profiling using genetic algorithms.

  • Worked on accident-prone feature notification ADAS system using OpenCV, and Deep learning. Also conducted POC with Deloitte, India for Lucknow.

  • Collaborated on object detection and tracking and pose estimation.

  • Delivery Robot path planning and trajectory prediction in heterogeneous traffic using graph and route searching algorithms.

  • Deployed the portal of cycling and pedestrian route planning in COVID 19 era for safe navigation with Deloitte, GIZ, and University of Edinburgh, (Letter of Support)

Research Consultant in “Learnogether Technologies PVT. LTD.” (06/2018-02/2021)

  • Responsible for smart city related projects inclusive of system design, and implementation-level details discussion with clients (professionals and academicians).

  • Conducted RnD and software design for use case of eye tracking; drowsy detection and facial expression in E-learning use case, using OpenCV, and Deep learning

  • Worked on toll price prediction and road network data visualization and analysis for 545 toll-plazas in India, using ML models- Random Forest, SVR, and DNN techniques.

  • Extracted traffic-related intelligence using sensing-infrastructure free crowd-sourced data of Google APIs. Further for adaptive signaling, unique adaptive increase multiplicative decrease algorithm is proposed.

  • Filled a patent and discussed implementation details with Deloitte (Signed NDA), India to conduct POC of adaptive signaling work in Gurugram, India.

Research scholar in GCET, [Galgotias-Director's_letter] (08/2016 –06/2018)

  • Pursued joint research projects with Dr. Ankit Gupta and Dr. Devanjan Bhattacharya by interacting with CEOs/ Directors/ Government officers.
  • Conducted POC and Hardware/ Software prototype development of traffic light control board for adaptive signaling, IoT network security, low-cost visibility measurement sensing technology, tourism and freight truck route update guide system's framework.

  • Worked on a methodology to map real-time congestion mapping on tempo-spatial city-wide area basis. Further, moving source emission is estimated for stable pollution checking policy, which is a substitute for Google project targeted to Delhi.

  • Technical consultancy for Toll plaza congestion tracking problem. The proposal drafts submitted were ‘congestion tracking’ and ‘visibility control’.
